Shoji has more than 14 years of experience in international education. After working for 6 years in Australia, Shoji joined CCEL marketing team in 2009 and is now in charge of student recruitment and agent relationship.

Mila has a University Degree in Project Management and over 10 years of work experience in international education industry. She is a graduate of Canadian College and is happy to help students reach their goals in Canada by sharing her own experience. She is proudly representing Canadian College/CCEL around the world with Trade Missions and educational events visits. Mila is also a Regulated Immigration Consultant in Canada.

Majeed Alqhiyama

Middle East Marketing Assistant

Majeed graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), in Canada, with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management. Currently, Majeed works for the Canadian College of English Language as Marketing Assistant for the Middle East region. Majeed is also a web analyst, certified by Google, a position in which he enjoys analyzing the different aspects of online marketing and consumer behavior.

After graduating from University Alex has been working in education industry for over 10 years. Last 5 years he has helped many students from Europe and Eastern Europe to come and study English at CCEL, bridging their original cultures into the Canadian environment.

Berani Yance

Right after obtaining her bachelor degree in Communications, Berani decided to move to Canada and continue her educational journey. Completing her Diploma in Project Management at Canadian College opened the doors of the International Education Industry for her, since then, Berani has been working at Canadian College, taking care of the Latin American region. After her own experience as an international student, her main goal is to provide honest, relevant and current information to all the students who wish to live an unforgettable experience in Canada.

Chinese Marketer

Friendly and genuine, Annabel enjoys helping students fulfill their individual dream of studying abroad in Canada. She graduated with a BA in Literature from Zhejiang University, China and studied her MA in Communications & New Media at National University of Singapore. She has traveled widely and believes the world is a global village.

Arisa is a graduate of CCEL and Canadian College and has been helping international students since 2011, especially from Japan and Southeast Asia. She is friendly, energetic and happy to help students to achieve their goals in Canada.

Mark Roberts

CCEL Teacher

Mark has taught English as a Second Language (ESL) for the past 15 years both in Canada and abroad. In recent years, in addition to teaching English to adults, Mark has focused on developing curriculum materials as well as producing instructional videos for English learners on YouTube.

Leanne Packer

CCEL Teacher

Leanne graduated with a BA in Hispanic Studies from the University of Victoria in 2010, which also included studying Spanish in Mexico for eight months. After graduating, Leanne taught ESL abroad for six months. She had the opportunity to teach in a variety of different contexts such as teaching business professionals, high school students and children.

Adam Shiroma

CCEL Teacher

Adam has been in education for the past ten years and has had the pleasure of working with people ranging in age from five to seventy-five. In addition to a Bachelor's degree in psychology and English writing, he is certified in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

Sabrina Marchand

CCEL Teacher

Sabrina graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor's degree and an associate's degree, majoring in English Literature and minoring in Anthropology. Today, Sabrina teaches English for Academic Purposes (EAP), at Canadian College of English Language, which focuses on university preparation and academic essay writing for ESL students with a desire to enter an English university.

Jim Clark

President & Owner

Jim Clark is the chairman and owner of several companies associated with the international education market. Jim Clark graduated from Massey University in New Zealand with a B.Sc. and then worked as a teacher and Principal in NZ and Canada until 1990. In 1991 he opened the Canadian College of English Language in Vancouver Canada. Since then Jim Clark has opened colleges in NZ, USA as well as Canada and has also partnered with numerous universities and colleges internationally delivering English and Career Preparation programs.

Lane Clark

CEO

Lane Clark is the CEO of the Canadian College of English Language (est. 1991). Lane graduated from the University of Victoria with a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the faculty of Engineering then worked as a marketer, administrator, director and now CEO. Lane Clark has assisted in opening colleges in NZ, USA and Canada and has also partnered with numerous universities and colleges locally and internationally. He has also been recognized for his philanthropic endeavors providing programs for international students in need.

Shaun Macleod

Academic Director

Shaun has been an instructor at CCEL since 2007 and is now the college’s Academic Director. As a teacher, over the years Shaun has taught a variety of levels–from Beginner to EAP. As the Academic Director, Shaun manages the classes and faculty, and oversees curriculum development. However, he still enjoys teaching, and currently teaches a live upper-level English class every Wednesday on YouTube.

Zach Taylor

CMO

Zach Taylor is the CMO of the Canadian College of English Language (est. 1991). Zach graduated from the University of Victoria with a BA in Economics and a minor in Computer Science. After graduating, he worked as the activities coordinator, marketer, marketing director and now the CMO. Zach has helped market schools in NZ, USA and Canada. His attention is now focused on marketing the Smrt English curriculum to educational institutions around the world.
